Hajj corruption case adjourned until tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The hearing on Hajj corruption case continued in the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, was hearing the case.

During the course of the hearing, Chief Justice of Pakistan remarked on the absence of investigation officer, Hussain Asghar, that he is an employee of the court and should follow the rules and orders.
Chief Justice quoted Secretary Establishment that the court will take action against Asghar if he is found absent from the proceedings.
Chief Justice instructed the Deputy Attorney General to issue Asghar’s suspension order, if he fails to follow the court’s instructions and orders.
The hearing was adjourned until June 28
